What is Surya ?

Surya is the Sun; it is the life giving symbol and hence is the presiding divinity in the center of preservation of the universe.

What is Surya ?

It is sacred and is worshipped. It is said that the real sun- the elan vital is the resident in the human heart. Its colour is burnished gold and appears like a newly minted golden coin. This is what yogis or monks are striving with utmost effort to see. When it emerges, self realization enlightment is achieved.
