Dragon and Phoenix
According to Chinese mythology the dragon and the phoenix are two very important and powerful symbols. The dragon represents the male vigor and fertility whereas the phoenix represents female beauty. The dragon is considered to be yang and brings prosperity whereas individually phoenix is also a yang but in presence of dragon it becomes yin.
The togetherness of two in home represents a successful marriage, a great deal of prosperity and many offspring’s. The union of two wonderful creatures suggests a strong bonding between the couple and brings in lot of money and descendant’s luck. The dragon represents the Patriarch and the phoenix represents Matriarch. This model can be placed in the north-west sector to enhance the Patriarch’s luck, if placed in south-west area it enhances luck of Matriach. The dragon and the phoenix in the east improves health of the family members and in south brings opportunities and recognition. It is a symbol of good fortune and can be placed anywhere.
