Remedies for Surya
- Mantra: Om Hraam Hreem Hraum Sah Suryaya Namah, chanted 108 times, ideally on Sunday.
- Gemstone: Ruby (Manik), worn only after a chart check, since a gemstone strengthens its planet for better or worse. A gentler, more affordable choice is red spinel or red garnet.
- Rudraksha: the 1 or 12 mukhi rudraksha, linked with Surya in modern practice.
- Yantra: the Surya yantra or a Navagraha yantra, installed on Sunday in Shukla Paksha.
- Daan and conduct: charity and steady conduct on Sunday are the simplest traditional remedies, and they need no purchase.
Whether Surya needs strengthening or pacifying depends on your chart. Consult Pt. Rahul Kaushl before choosing a gemstone.
