Rudraksh according to holy books is another image of Lord Shiva. It is used in wearing chains and is also used as an element for different ailments. It has been said that by doing puja of this Rudraksh at home always pleases Goddess Lakshmi ji. Those who wear Rudraksh are always out of the reach from ghost or related negative Energies.

It is kind of Fruit as well as Flower and is of Brown colour. It kills all kind of germs inside and outside the body. It keeps blood pressure of body in control and also keeps heart stronger. It has pungent taste. To chant mantras on the mala of Rudraksh is very beneficial to individuals.
What is the Story of Rudraksh ?
It is about the king of Paatal named May who was very strong and powerful. One day he gets inquisitive and he thought of winning other areas too. He started his fight with Devtaas and at Himalayas he made three pur made of three different dhaatus like Gold, Silver and Iron. They started giving pains to the residents of that lok and won fights and taken their land from them. Those devtas became homeless and then they planned to visit Brahma ji for their problems. But due to kings power Brahma ji could not help them so they decided to visit Vihnu ji There they narrated whole story and in return Lord Vishnu referred them to lord Shiva. At last Lord Shiva helped them and went to the place with Brahma ji and Vishnu jag and did fight with them. Some of them were killed and some of them ran away. In this way they got relief from that king. Then lord Shiva went to relax after fight and he was happy after that fight and started laughing and then drops of water came from his eyes which took shape of Flower, Fruit, and Leaf. So in this way Rudraksh has been named after that drops of water came out of Lord Shiva eyes.
