What precautions should be taken while and after buying 14 Mukhi Rudrakshas?
This 14 Mukhi Rudraksha should be kept only in pooja area before it is wored. Beej Mantra and Mool Mantra should be chanted according to Jabalo Upanishad, to energize it before wearing it.
After the Mala is wored “Om Namah Shivaye” should be chanted with proper pronunciation. One should buy Rudraksha capped in panchdhatu or silver or gold and wear it in neck. It is preferred to wear it in Bhrama Mahurat by facing North East near the door. While purchasing one must check that it has 14 lines on it. To check it, dip it inside a glass full of water for about an hour. If the bead remains solid it is original and the water should be transparent and no smell should come out of it. If small holes appear on it, it is duplicate. When it is worn it should touch the body for best effects.
