Having a garden has become a very common feature in many independent houses, offices or any construction. While following Vaastu for any place, there are certain things that are essential like the horoscope of the owners, the kind of business (if commercial complex) that is planned to be conducted in the office, the directions of the building entrance etc.
Along with the entire house vastu for garden has also become mandatory. So here are some vastu tips that you may follow for your garden:
- Wherever you plan to have a garden ensure that the garden is in the North or West and is inside the compound wall. The other two directions must be avoided.
- Coconut tree, the Kalapavriksha and banana plants are the most favorable and auspicious plants to have in the garden. These trees are auspicious for all irrespective of the people who own the place.
- No large or tall tress must be planted in the centre of the garden.
- If you are planning to have the garden in the centre of the house then try to avoid fountains or any such water body in the garden. A fountain can be placed if the garden is planned to one side or direction. In such cases, fountains must be planned to the North East. Also ensure that the plants grown don’t grow more than 3 feet.
- Many a times it is observed that gardens have huge sculptures or exhibits. If you plan to have such exhibits then ensure that these should be placed to the South, west or south-west of the garden.
- Gardens in the house should not have thorny plants at all. Thorny plants give out negative vibes. Instead, have sweet smelling flower plants. They not only add beauty but also give pleasantness to the environment.
- Having a basil plant within the complex is a very positive sign. It has lots of sacred importance and brings positivity wherever it is.
- Always remember when you plan to plant a new plant it is very essential that they are planned during the day.
- Some of the good plants that anybody can have in their garden are coconut, neem, sandalwood, amla, lemon etc.
