इसके अनुसार क्रमबद्ध करें:
A 1 mukhi rudraksha has one natural line (mukhi) running from the top of the bead to the bottom. In the tradition it is associated with Lord Shiva himself, and in Jyotish with Surya (the Sun). This collection brings together Pandit.com's 1 mukhi beads from Nepal and Indonesia, each checked under Pt. Rahul Kaushl before dispatch, with the origin stated on every product.
1 mukhi rudraksha in the tradition
The Shiva Purana describes rudraksha from one to fourteen faces and links each to a deity. The 1 mukhi bead belongs to Lord Shiva himself. A round one mukhi bead from Nepal is among the rarest seeds in the world. Most one mukhi beads offered today are the half-moon (chandrakar) form from India or the one-line bead from Indonesia, and both are listed here with their origin stated. See the Surya remedies for other remedies of Surya.
Who chooses a 1 mukhi rudraksha
It is traditionally chosen for:
- concentration and a single-pointed mind
- leadership and self-confidence
- meditation and spiritual focus
In Jyotish it is chosen when Surya needs support in the birth chart. It is often paired with a twelve mukhi bead, as both are linked to Surya. For a bead matched to your chart, consult Pt. Rahul Kaushl.

How to wear a 1 mukhi rudraksha
- Choose a Monday morning, after bathing.
- Wash the bead in clean water or Ganga jal and place it before an image of Lord Shiva.
- Chant Om Namah Shivaya 108 times, or the beej mantra given on the product page.
- Wear it in a red or black silk thread, a wool thread, or capped in silver or gold, so that it touches the skin.
- Remove it before bathing with soap, and oil it lightly with sandalwood or mustard oil every few months.
How to check that a rudraksha is genuine
- The lines should run from end to end without breaks, and should not look carved.
- An X-ray shows the seed compartments inside the bead; their number matches the number of mukhi.
- Buy with a lab certificate. Floating, sinking and copper-coin tests are not reliable.
