Cat's Eye (Lehsunia) is worn to strengthen Ketu when that planet supports your birth chart, and it is traditionally chosen for insight, protection and steadiness during Ketu periods. Because a gemstone strengthens its planet, it is chosen from the birth chart, ideally the lagna, and not from the rashi alone.
