Pitambari in Jyotish
Pitambari is a natural sapphire that shows blue and yellow in one stone. In modern practice it is associated with Guru and Shani together, so it is chosen only when both planets support the chart. See the Guru remedies and Shani remedies pages.
How Pitambari is worn
The finger, metal and day follow the planet that leads in your chart: the index finger and Thursday for Guru, or the middle finger and Saturday for Shani. Many astrologers advise a short trial before the stone is set.
