Pitambari Gemstone - 3.14 Carat
A single natural Pitambari of 3.14 carat, about 3.45 ratti (at 1 ratti = 0.91 carat, a common trade measure). Each gemstone on Pandit.com is listed as an individual piece by weight, so you choose the exact stone you will receive. Selected under Pt. Rahul Kaushl.
Pitambari in Jyotish
Pitambari is a natural sapphire that shows blue and yellow in one stone. In modern practice it is associated with Guru and Shani together, so it is chosen only when both planets support the chart. See the Guru remedies and Shani remedies pages.
How Pitambari is worn
The finger, metal and day follow the planet that leads in your chart: the index finger and Thursday for Guru, or the middle finger and Saturday for Shani. Many astrologers advise a short trial before the stone is set.
Before you buy
- Check that the planet of this stone supports your birth chart, ideally your lagna.
- Fix the weight with your astrologer. A clean stone of moderate weight is preferred over a large stone with heavy inclusions.
- For a stone matched to your chart, consult Pt. Rahul Kaushl.
